I actually row for Stanton down in Florida. I'm in the off season right now, but sprint starts directly after the holidays, so there you have it. And my sentiments on the 2k. If it's any consolation, I have a feeling many many of them are in my near and imminent future. Hahahaha.

I row for Girls Preparatory School in TN. I was stroke seat during fall season, but during winter whenever we go out on the water, lineups are totally random.
Florida teams are generally pretty good, some of you guys scare me. Laffo. We have our ups and downs, one year we kick some ass, another year we dont. But I suppose that's the sport.

Well, it wasnt really a 2k.
Our coach is Hartmut Buschbacher [might've heard of him, he's coached Olympic guys, he scares us a lot...] he decided to be nice. so he tells us in his scary german accent.
Okay, okay. Fine. Put into your ergs... 1999 meters. See?! It's not a 2k!
We all just sighed sadly.

Hahahaha... I literally lol'd when I read that. Actually, that sounds like sommat our coaches would do. Hitchcock was in the army, and he yells... a lot. But we love him. And then there's Durant. She's scary in that quiet I'll-kill-you-in-your-sleep sort of way. But yah, we generally keep a good rap down here. Although, I must say, scariest girls to row against, Winter Park. ::Shudder:: They're bleedin' HUGE. Whoa. It's insane. Blech.

what about Cincinatti? They're pretty freaking scary.
They entered five boats in the women's eight race in Oakridge, an A, B, C, D and E. We lost to their A and B and BARELY beat their C. and we had good times.
they are a huge team and they're all really frightening.
one of their slowest rowers, their SLOWEST, has a 2k time of like... 6.51
That makes me shudder on the inside.
